IntroductionPeptide aspartylglucosaminidase (PNGase) removes asparagine linked oligosaccharide chains from intact proteins.
Mechansim[REF: 2] Mutagenesis studies have shown that there is an essential aspartate in the active site as well as two important glutamate residues and a tyrosine. There is no mechanistic detail known beyond this.
