The European Medicines Research Training Network (EMTRAIN) is establishing a sustainable, pan-European platform for education and training covering the whole life-cycle of medicines research, from basic science through clinical development to pharmacovigilance. This is achieved by integrating the strengths and competencies of the ESFRI biomedical science research infrastructures, pharmaceutical companies, urrent and future education and training programmes supported by the Innovative Medicines Initiative, and other scientific projects.
