HipSci - The Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells Initiative, funded by the Wellcome Trust and Medical Research Council (MRC), will generate iPS cells from over 500 healthy individuals with genetic disease, and use these cells to discover how genomic variation impacts on cellular phenotype.

BASIS - Funded by the EU, the Breast Cancer Somatic Genetics Study will collect, store, review, quality control and extract DNA and RNA from breast cancer and normal tissues from 500 ER+, HER2- breast cancer cases, and subject them to a coordinated series of genomic analyses.
