The PRIDE PRoteomics IDEntifications database is a centralized, standards compliant,
public data repository for proteomics data. PRIDE is also able to capture
details of post-translational modifications coordinated relative to the
peptides in which they have been found.
The PRIDE team is currently recruiting!
Java/Database application developers and bioinformaticians are encouraged
to look at the available EMBL-EBI Job
opportunities.
Search PRIDE
You can use the search box to perform simple keyword queries.
Allowed values for the simple search are:
PRIDE Experiment accession number (ex: 8500).
Protein accession: This will search the database and return the experiments where this
protein was identified. You can use protein accessions from IPI, UniProtKB, ENSEMBL or RefSeq,
and
you can also use UniProtKB IDs and NCBI gi numbers.
NCBI gi: gi|435778 (please note that the gi| prefix is mandatory)
UniProtKB, ENSEMBL and RefSeq accessions be can versioned (e.g. IPI00619935.2)
to refine your search to a specific version.
The
Browse page provides access to
datasets via their associated project
name or categorised using selected ontolgies. Categories include species, tissue,
cell type, GO terms and disease. e
More complex searches can be performed using the
Advanced Search.
Please also consider using the
PRIDE BioMart for powerful sophisticated searches (also allows searches
across data resources, for example linking PRIDE identifications to
REACTOME pathways).
