Protein Data Bank in Europe : Funding

The Protein Data Bank in Europe is supported by the following fundings.

EMBL

The EMBL is the EBI's parent organization. It provides core funding (staff, space, equipment) for PDBe.

Wellcome Trust

As well as providing and maintaining the campus on which the EBI is located, the Wellcome Trust also provides a significant amount of core funding for PDBe. The current grant runs from January 2010 to December 2014.

BBSRC

The BBSRC currently supports our PiMS, NMR and EMDB projects of PDBe.

NIH

NIH provides funding for the EMDB project.

EU

The European Union provides support for PDBe through the eNMR and SLING projects.

Other organisations that have supported PDBe (previously, MSD) activities in the past include MRC and CCP4.
