A PDB ID code will be issued only after:

  • all mandatory information has to be submitted
  • the depositor completes the submission process.
  • the data passes minimum validation criteria, as described in Validation

After the IDCODE has been issued, submissions are annotated at the PDBe and this includes a manual inspection. No entry will be released until the entry has been approved by the depositor.
