1.8 A Structure of the human delta opioid 7TM receptor (PSI Community Target)
The structure was published by Fenalti, G., Giguere, P.M., Katritch, V., et al., Cherezov, V., Roth, B.L., and Stevens, R.C., in 2014 in a paper entitled "Molecular control of delta-opioid receptor signalling." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.8 Å and deposited in 2013.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Soluble cytochrome b562, Delta-type opioid receptor chimeric protein. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P0ABE7 (C562_ECOLX). The sample contained 414 residues which is 100% of the natural sequence. Out of 414 residues 397 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
