3-HYDROXY-6-PHENYL-1,2-DIHYDROPYRIDIN-2-ONE bound to influenza 2009 H1N1 endonuclease
The structure was published by Bauman, J.D., Patel, D., Baker, S.F., et al., Lavoie, E.J., Das, K., and Arnold, E., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Crystallographic fragment screening and structure-based optimization yields a new class of influenza endonuclease inhibitors." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.0 Å and deposited in 2013.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Polymerase PA. This molecule has the UniProt identifier F0TRT1 (F0TRT1_9INFA). The sample contained 241 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 241 residues 200 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule has more than one probable quaternary state observed. For more details see the quaternary structure page.
