The Crystal structure of PDE6D in complex with the inhibitor (s)-5
The structure was published by Zimmermann, G., Papke, B., Ismail, S., et al., Wittinghofer, A., Bastiaens, P.I., and Waldmann, H., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Small molecule inhibition of the KRAS PDEd interaction impairs oncogenic KRAS signalling" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.4 Å and deposited in 2013.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Retinal rod rhodopsin-sensitive cGMP 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase subunit delta. This molecule has the UniProt identifier O43924 (PDE6D_HUMAN). The sample contained 152 residues which is 100% of the natural sequence. Out of 152 residues 140 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
