PDB entry 4iis (supersedes 3f55)
Crystal structure of a glycosylated beta-1,3-glucanase (HEV B 2), An allergen from Hevea Brasiliensis (Space group P41)
The structure was published by Rodriguez-Romero, A., Hernandez-Santoyo, A., Fuentes-Silva, D., et al., Munoz-Cruz, S., Yepez-Mulia, L., and Orozco-Martinez, S., in 2014 in a paper entitled "Structural analysis of the endogenous glycoallergen Hev b 2 (endo-beta-1,3-glucanase) from Hevea brasiliensis and its recognition by human basophils." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.6676 Å and deposited in 2012.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
This PDB entry contains multiple copies of the structure of Beta-1,3-glucanase form 'RRII Gln 2'.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule has more than one probable quaternary state observed. For more details see the quaternary structure page.
