Crystal structure of monomeric (V948R) primary oncogenic mutant L858R EGFR kinase domain
The structure was published by Gajiwala, K.S., Feng, J., Ferre, R., et al., Weinrich, S., Kath, J.C., and Stewart, A., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Insights into the Aberrant Activity of Mutant EGFR Kinase Domain and Drug Recognition." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 3.34 Å and deposited in 2012.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Epidermal growth factor receptor. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P00533 (EGFR_HUMAN). The sample contained 329 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 329 residues 287 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
