The structure was published by Boone, C.D., Habibzadegan, A., Tu, C., Silverman, D.N., and McKenna, R., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Structural and catalytic characterization of a thermally stable and acid-stable variant of human carbonic anhydrase II containing an engineered disulfide bond." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.762 Å and deposited in 2012.
