Structure of E.coli rhomboid protease GlpG in complex with monobactam L62
The structure was published by Vinothkumar, K.R., Pierrat, O.A., Large, J.M., and Freeman, M., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Structure of Rhomboid Protease in Complex with Beta-Lactam Inhibitors Defines the S2' Cavity." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.3 Å and deposited in 2013.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of RHOMBOID PROTEASE GLPG. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P09391 (GLPG_ECOLI). The sample contained 180 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 180 residues 178 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
