The structure was published by Rivera-Calzada, A., Fronzes, R., Savva, C.G., et al., Remaut, H., Waksman, G., and Orlova, E.V., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Structure of a Bacterial Type Iv Secretion Core Complex at Subnanometre Resolution." (abstract).
