EGFR kinase domain with compound4

The structure was published by Sogabe, S., Kawakita, Y., Igaki, S., et al., Takagi, S., Ohta, Y., and Ishikawa, T., in 2013 in a paper entitled "Structure-Based Approach for the Discovery of Pyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidine-Based EGFR T790M/L858R Mutant Inhibitors" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.9 Å and deposited in 2012.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Epidermal growth factor receptor. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P00533 (EGFR_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 330 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 330 residues 307 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
