Crystal Structure of JNK3 complexed with CC-359, a JNK inhibitor for the prevention of ischemia-reperfusion injury

The structure was published by Krenitsky, V.P., Delgado, M., Nadolny, L., et al., Cole, A.G., Bennett, B., and Satoh, Y., in 2012 in a paper entitled "Aminopurine based JNK inhibitors for the prevention of ischemia reperfusion injury." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.1 Å and deposited in 2011.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Mitogen-activated protein kinase 10. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P53779 (MK10_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 464 residues which is 100% of the natural sequence. Out of 464 residues 333 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
