The structure was published by Mecinovic, J., Snyder, P.W., Mirica, K.A., et al., Moustakas, D.T., Heroux, A., and Whitesides, G.M., in 2011 in a paper entitled "Fluoroalkyl and alkyl chains have similar hydrophobicities in binding to the "hydrophobic wall" of carbonic anhydrase." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.37 Å and deposited in 2011.
