PDK1 mutant bound to allosteric disulfide fragment activator JS30
The structure was published by Sadowsky, J.D., Burlingame, M.A., Wolan, D.W., McClendon, C.L., Jacobson, M.P., and Wells, J.A., in 2011 in a paper entitled "Turning a protein kinase on or off from a single allosteric site via disulfide trapping." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.1013 Å and deposited in 2010.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1. This molecule has the UniProt identifier O15530 (PDPK1_HUMAN). The sample contained 316 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 316 residues 273 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
