The structure was published by Sadowsky, J.D., Burlingame, M.A., Wolan, D.W., McClendon, C.L., Jacobson, M.P., and Wells, J.A., in 2011 in a paper entitled "Turning a protein kinase on or off from a single allosteric site via disulfide trapping." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.9995 Å and deposited in 2010.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
