Mutagenesis of p38 MAP kinase establishes key roles of Phe169 in function and structural dynamics and reveals a novel DFG-out state

The structure was published by Bukhtiyarova, M., Karpusas, M., Northrop, K., Namboodiri, H.V., and Springman, E.B., in 2007 in a paper entitled "Mutagenesis of p38alpha MAP kinase establishes key roles of Phe169 in function and structural dynamics and reveals a novel DFG-OUT state." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.2 Å and deposited in 2010.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
