Crystal Structure of hPNMT in Complex AdoHcy and 2-Amino-1-methylbenzimidazole
The structure was published by Drinkwater, N., Vu, H., Lovell, K.M., et al., McLeish, M.J., Grunewald, G.L., and Martin, J.L., in 2010 in a paper entitled "Fragment-based screening by X-ray crystallography, MS and isothermal titration calorimetry to identify PNMT (phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase) inhibitors." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.399 Å and deposited in 2009.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
This PDB entry contains multiple copies of the structure of Phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule most likely forms homodimers.
