The structure was published by Boudreaux, D.A., Maiti, T.K., Davies, C.W., and Das, C., in 2010 in a paper entitled "Ubiquitin vinyl methyl ester binding orients the misaligned active site of the ubiquitin hydrolase UCHL1 into productive conformation." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.4 Å and deposited in 2009.
