The structure was published by Yang, Y., Gourinath, S., Kovacs, M., et al., Szent-Gyorgyi, A.G., Brown, J.H., and Cohen, C., in 2007 in a paper entitled "Rigor-like structures from muscle myosins reveal key mechanical elements in the transduction pathways of this allosteric motor." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.6 Å and deposited in 2009.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
