Crystal structure of HCR/T complexed with GT2
The structure was published by Chen, C., Fu, Z., Kim, J.J., Barbieri, J.T., and Baldwin, M.R., in 2009 in a paper entitled "Gangliosides as high affinity receptors for tetanus neurotoxin." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.0 Å and deposited in 2009.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Tetanus toxin. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P04958 (TETX_CLOTE). The sample contained 450 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 450 residues 442 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
