The structure was published by Chen, C., Fu, Z., Kim, J.J., Barbieri, J.T., and Baldwin, M.R., in 2009 in a paper entitled "Gangliosides as high affinity receptors for tetanus neurotoxin." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.0 Å and deposited in 2009.
