Human glucokinase in complex with a synthetic activator

The structure was published by Mitsuya, M., Kamata, K., Bamba, M., et al., Nagata, Y., Eiki, J., and Nishimura, T., in 2009 in a paper entitled "Discovery of novel 3,6-disubstituted 2-pyridinecarboxamide derivatives as GK activators" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.52 Å and deposited in 2009.
