Crystal structure of the rat androgen receptor ligand binding domain complex with an n-aryl-oxazolidin 2-imine inhibitor

The structure was published by Nirschl, A.A., Zou, Y., Krystek, S.R., et al., Zahler, R., Ostrowski, J., and Hamann, L.G., in 2009 in a paper entitled "N-aryl-oxazolidin-2-imine muscle selective androgen receptor modulators enhance potency through pharmacophore reorientation." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.95 Å and deposited in 2009.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Androgen receptor. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P15207 (ANDR_RAT)search. The sample contained 260 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 260 residues 248 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
