The structure was published by Temperini, C., Cecchi, A., Scozzafava, A., and Supuran, C.T., in 2009 in a paper entitled "Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Comparison of chlorthalidone and indapamide X-ray crystal structures in adducts with isozyme II: when three water molecules and the keto-enol tautomerism make the difference." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.9 Å and deposited in 2008.
