The structure was published by Shiau, A.K., Barstad, D., Loria, P.M., et al., Kushner, P.J., Agard, D.A., and Greene, G.L., in 1998 in a paper entitled "The structural basis of estrogen receptor/coactivator recognition and the antagonism of this interaction by tamoxifen." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.03 Å and deposited in 1999.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.
