3eg0 Summary

Crystal structure of the N114T mutant of ABL-SH3 domain

The structure was published by Palencia, A., Camara-Artigas, A., Pisabarro, M.T., Martinez, J.C., and Luque, I., in 2010 in a paper entitled "Role of interfacial water molecules in proline-rich ligand recognition by the Src homology 3 domain of Abl." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.3 Å and deposited in 2008.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase ABL1. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P00519 (ABL1_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 63 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 63 residues 56 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
