Structure of VEGFR2 kinase domain in complex with BIBF1120
The structure was published by Hilberg, F., Roth, G.J., Krssak, M., et al., Quant, J., Heckel, A., and Rettig, W.J., in 2008 in a paper entitled "BIBF 1120: triple angiokinase inhibitor with sustained receptor blockade and good antitumor efficacy." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.1 Å and deposited in 2008.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P35968 (VGFR2_HUMAN). The sample contained 316 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 316 residues 290 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
