The structure was published by Dou, H., Buetow, L., Hock, A., Sibbet, G.J., Vousden, K.H., and Huang, D.T., in 2012 in a paper entitled "Structural Basis for Autoinhibition and Phosphorylation-Dependent Activation of C-Cbl." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.67 Å and deposited in 2010.
