THE CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF ECORV ENDONUCLEASE AND OF ITS COMPLEXES WITH COGNATE AND NON-COGNATE DNA SEGMENTS

The structure was published by Winkler, F.K., Banner, D.W., Oefner, C., et al., Martin, P.D., Petratos, K., and Wilson, K.S., in 1993 in a paper entitled "The crystal structure of EcoRV endonuclease and of its complexes with cognate and non-cognate DNA fragments." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 3.0 Å and deposited in 1991.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.

This PDB entry contains a complex of 2 biomacromolecules, namely DNA (5'-D(*CP*GP*AP*GP*CP*TP*CP*G)-3') and PROTEIN (ECO RV (E.C.3.1.21.4)).

The molecule has more than one probable quaternary state observed. For more details see the quaternary structure page.
