2rot Summary

Structure of chimeric variant of SH3 domain- SHH

The structure was published by Kutyshenko, V.P., Prokhorov, D.A., Timchenko, M.A., et al., Khristoforov, V.S., Filimonov, V.V., and Uversky, V.N., in 2009 in a paper entitled "Solution structure and dynamics of the chimeric SH3 domains, SHH- and SHA-"Bergeracs"." (abstract).

The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2008.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Spectrin alpha chain, brain. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P07751 (SPTN1_CHICK)search. The sample contained 70 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 70 residues 70 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
