PDB entry 2qua

Crystal structure of LipA from Serratia marcescens

The structure was published by Meier, R., Drepper, T., Svensson, V., Jaeger, K.E., and Baumann, U., in 2007 in a paper entitled "A calcium-gated lid and a large beta-roll sandwich are revealed by the crystal structure of extracellular lipase from Serratia marcescens." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.95 Å and deposited in 2007.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Extracellular lipase. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q59933 (Q59933_SERMA)search. The sample contained 615 residues which is 100% of the natural sequence. Out of 615 residues 615 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
