The structure was published by Davis, T.L., Walker, J.R., Loppnau, P., Butler-Cole, C., Allali-Hassani, A., and Dhe-Paganon, S., in 2008 in a paper entitled "Autoregulation by the Juxtamembrane Region of the Human Ephrin Receptor Tyrosine Kinase A3 (EphA3)." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.2 Å and deposited in 2007.
