Androgen receptor LBD with small molecule

The structure was published by Estebanez-Perpina, E., Arnold, L.A., Arnold, A.A., et al., Guy, R.K., Webb, P., and Fletterick, R.J., in 2007 in a paper entitled "A surface on the androgen receptor that allosterically regulates coactivator binding." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.12 Å and deposited in 2007.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Androgen receptor. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P10275 (ANDR_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 251 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 251 residues 248 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
