X-ray Structure of Estrogen Related Receptor g in complex with Bisphenol A.

The structure was published by Abad, M.C., Askari, H., O'Neill, J., et al., Springer, B., Spurlino, J., and Rentzeperis, D., in 2008 in a paper entitled "Structural determination of estrogen-related receptor gamma in the presence of phenol derivative compounds." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.1 Å and deposited in 2007.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of Estrogen-related receptor gamma. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P62508 (ERR3_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 251 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 251 residues 222 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
