The second SH3 domain from ponsin
The structure was published by Gehmlich, K., Pinotsis, N., Hayess, K., et al., El Banayosy, A., Wilmanns, M., and Ehler, E., in 2007 in a paper entitled "Paxillin and ponsin interact in nascent costameres of muscle cells" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 0.83 Å and deposited in 2006.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Ponsin. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q9BX66 (SRBS1_HUMAN). The sample contained 67 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 67 residues 67 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
