Crystal structure of the Carbonic Anhydrase II complexed with hydroxysulfamide inhibitor

The structure was published by Temperini, C., Winum, J.Y., Montero, J.L., Scozzafava, A., and Supuran, C.T., in 2007 in a paper entitled "Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors: The X-ray crystal structure of the adduct of N-hydroxysulfamide with isozyme II explains why this new zinc binding function is effective in the design of potent inhibitors." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.1 Å and deposited in 2006.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
