X-RAY STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATION OF LEGHEMOGLOBIN. VI. STRUCTURE OF ACETATE-FERRILEGHEMOGLOBIN AT A RESOLUTION OF 2.0 ANGSTROMS (RUSSIAN)
The structure was published by Arutyunyan, E.G., Kuranova, I.P., Vainshtein, B.K., and Steigemann, W., in 1980 in a paper entitled "X-Ray Structural Investigation of Leghemoglobin. Vi. Structure of Acetate-Ferrileghemoglobin at a Resolution of 2.0 Angstroms (Russian)" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.0 Å and deposited in 1982.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of LEGHEMOGLOBIN (AQUO MET). This molecule has the UniProt identifier P02240 (LGB2_LUPLU). The sample contained 153 residues which is 99% of the natural sequence. Out of 153 residues 153 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
