2i4z Summary

spacer

Crystal structure of the complex between PPARgamma and the partial agonist LT127 (ureidofibrate derivative). This structure has been obtained from crystals soaked for 6 hours.

The structure was published by Pochetti, G., Godio, C., Mitro, N., et al., Novellino, E., Mazza, F., and Crestani, M., in 2007 in a paper entitled "Insights into the mechanism of partial agonism: crystal structures of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma ligand-binding domain in the complex with two enantiomeric ligands" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.25 Å and deposited in 2006.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

This PDB entry contains multiple copies of the structure of Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule most likely forms homodimers.

The following tables show cross-reference information to other databases (to obtain a list of all PDB entries sharing the same property or classification, click on the magnifying glass icon):
