The structure was published by Critton, D.A., Tortajada, A., Stetson, G., Peti, W., and Page, R., in 2008 in a paper entitled "Structural basis of substrate recognition by hematopoietic tyrosine phosphatase" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.4 Å and deposited in 2006.
