The structure was published by Trickey, P., Wagner, M.A., Jorns, M.S., and Mathews, F.S., in 1999 in a paper entitled "Monomeric Sarcosine Oxidase: Structure of a Covalently Flavinylated Amine Oxidizing Enzyme" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.85 Å and deposited in 2006.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
