The structure was published by Yuan, Y.R., Pei, Y., Chen, H.Y., Tuschl, T., and Patel, D.J., in 2006 in a paper entitled "A Potential Protein-RNA Recognition Event along the RISC-Loading Pathway from the Structure of A. aeolicus Argonaute with Externally Bound siRNA." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 3.1 Å and deposited in 2005.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
