Solution structure of the FK506-binding domain of human FKBP38

The structure was published by Maestre-Martinez, M., Edlich, F., Jarczowski, F., Weiwad, M., Fischer, G., and Luecke, C., in 2006 in a paper entitled "Solution Structure of the FK506-Binding Domain of Human FKBP38" (abstract).

The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2005.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of 38 kDa FK-506 binding protein homolog, FKBP38. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q14318 (FKBP8_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 121 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 121 residues 121 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
