The structure was published by Bezerra, G.A., Oliveira, T.M., Moreno, F.B.M.B., et al., Delatorre, P., de Azevedo Jr., W.F., and Cavada, B.S., in 2007 in a paper entitled "Structural analysis of Canavalia maritima and Canavalia gladiata lectins complexed with different dimannosides: New insights into the understanding of the structure-biological activity relationship in legume lectins" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.1 Å and deposited in 2007.
