The structure was published by Knighton, D.R., Zheng, J.H., Ten Eyck, L.F., et al., Xuong, N.H., Taylor, S.S., and Sowadski, J.M., in 1991 in a paper entitled "Crystal structure of the catalytic subunit of cyclic adenosine monophosphate-dependent protein kinase." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.7 Å and deposited in 1992.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.
