HOW FAMILY 26 GLYCOSIDE HYDROLASES ORCHESTRATE CATALYSIS ON DIFFERENT POLYSACCHARIDES. STRUCTURE AND ACTIVITY OF A CLOSTRIDIUM THERMOCELLUM LICHENASE, CTLIC26A

The structure was published by Taylor, E.J., Goyal, A., Guerreiro, C.I.P.D., et al., Gilbert, H.J., Fontes, C.M.G.A., and Davies, G.J., in 2005 in a paper entitled "How Family 26 Glycoside Hydrolases Orchestrate Catalysis on Different Polysaccharides: Structure and Activity of a Clostridium Thermocellum Lichenase, Ctlic26A." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.5 Å and deposited in 2005.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of ENDOGLUCANASE H. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P16218 (GUNH_CLOTH)search. The sample contained 290 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 290 residues 284 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
