PDB entry 2bp4 (supersedes 1o6n)
ZINC-BINDING DOMAIN OF ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AMYLOID BETA-PEPTIDE IN TFE-WATER (80-20) SOLUTION
The structure was published by Zirah, S., Kozin, S.A., Mazur, A.K., et al., Segalas-Milazzo, I., Debey, P., and Rebuffat, S., in 2006 in a paper entitled "Structural Changes of Region 1-16 of the Alzheimer Disease Amyloid Beta-Peptide Upon Zinc Binding and in Vitro Aging." (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2005.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of AMYLOID BETA A4 PROTEIN. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P05067 (A4_HUMAN). The sample contained 16 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 16 residues 16 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
