SH3-SH2 DOMAIN FRAGMENT OF HUMAN BCR-ABL TYROSINE KINASE

The structure was published by Nam, H.J., Haser, W.G., Roberts, T.M., and Frederick, C.A., in 1996 in a paper entitled "Intramolecular interactions of the regulatory domains of the Bcr-Abl kinase reveal a novel control mechanism." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.5 Å and deposited in 1996.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of ABL TYROSINE KINASE. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P00519 (ABL1_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 163 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 163 residues 163 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
